Check credentials first. Start with clinics that name who provides the treatment, and check each clinician’s license on the clinic’s record here. A Google rating alone does not tell you who will treat you or whether they are licensed.
Start with Verified clinics. The clinicians they name matched current state license records.
Compare Google ratings. Compare ratings and review counts, and read the reviews that mention the treatment you want.
Check the location. Look at the clinic’s address, and whether it is convenient for you and for any follow-up visits.
Ask who will treat you. Ask for the full name and credential of the person who will inject you, then check that they appear on the clinic’s record here. If they do not, look them up on the state board’s own search. Also ask which product they use and how many units they recommend for you.
Look at the provider’s background. Their credential, experience, training specific to the treatment, and education. Ask who supervises treatment and what happens if there is a complication.
Compare prices. Prices vary widely between clinics, and the most expensive is not always the better choice.
What can be checked in OH
A license can only be checked where the state publishes a register we can read in bulk. Where it does not, the row below says so. That is a gap in the public record, not a finding about anyone.
Registered NurseCheckableThe state's eLicense export of every individual license, dated 2026-10-02. It holds every status, not active licenses only.
Nurse Practitioner (APRN)CheckableThe state's eLicense export of every individual license, dated 2026-10-02. An advanced practice license is an endorsement on the nurse's RN license, and the file states the role: nurse practitioner, nurse anesthetist, clinical nurse specialist or nurse midwife.
Physician (MD)CheckableThe state's eLicense export of every individual license, dated 2026-10-02, including the Board's compact license type.
Osteopathic Physician (DO)CheckableThe state's eLicense export of every individual license, dated 2026-10-02. A separate license type from MD in Ohio, issued by the same Board, including its compact license type.
Physician AssistantCheckableThe state's eLicense export of every individual license, dated 2026-10-02. The State Medical Board licenses physician assistants as well as physicians.
How med spa injector licenses are checked in Ohio
Ohio publishes a license register we can read for:
Registered Nurse
Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
Physician (MD)
Osteopathic Physician (DO)
Physician Assistant
Every clinician a med spa names with one of those credentials is matched against the board’s own record. The listing then shows:
the board’s status word
the license expiry date
the day we read the record
What “Verified” means here
A med spa is Verified when, on the day we checked:
every clinician it names with a medical or nursing credential, or calls Dr., was searched and matched to a current license with the issuing board;
a physician license is among them; and
at least one of them is somebody other than the supervising medical director, unless the only clinician the clinic names is a physician who is not listed as medical director at another practice.
A clinician we could not match or could not search holds the clinic at Partly checked. Verified is a statement about licenses on a date. It says nothing about the quality, safety or outcome of a treatment. Verified Injector publishes no ratings or reviews of its own; the Google ratings shown here are Google’s and play no part in verification. The full rule is on How Verification Works.
Verified: every named license was current with Ohio licensing boards when we checked. The Google figures at the top of this page are Google's rating and review counts for 299 of 396 listed locations, read October 12, 2026.
Why most of this list is not yet checked
63 of the 396 locations in Ohio have no clinician we could confirm on the pages of their own website we read. There is nothing for anyone to check, and that is a fact about what a business publishes rather than a finding against it. If you run one of them, naming your clinicians is free and takes an afternoon.
Ohio med spa data
Counted over every med spa location we hold in Ohio, not over the filtered list above; a clinic is the locations sharing one website. “Names an injector” and “names a medical director” are the clinic’s own words on its own website.
