Verified Injector Policies for Clinics

The rules Verified Injector applies to every clinic it lists, whether or not the clinic ever contacts us or pays for anything.

Independence and payment

Being listed costs nothing. Being rechecked when we refresh a state’s license register data costs nothing. Correcting our mistakes costs nothing.

You do not need to sign up, apply, or pay us to appear. Our paid products are separate from our verification decisions.

You cannot pay to

You can pay to

A badge purchase does not affect verification status. We do not sell placement. No payment or plan changes where a clinic appears in the directory today, and payment never changes a verification status or finding.

Clinics do not pay to

Those parts of the system remain separate from the badge business.

You pay to display the verification. You do not pay to receive it. Verification is determined by the evidence, not by payment.

Payment does not influence verification status or findings.

Verification and re-verification cadence

Records are rechecked each time we refresh that state's license register data, and each checked record shows the date it was last checked. Nothing is required of a clinic, and those rechecks cost nothing.

What verification means

Verified Injector is designed to answer a narrow set of questions:

Verification is not a rating of clinical skill, treatment quality, safety, customer service, or patient outcomes. It is a dated comparison between publicly stated provider information and the professional records described in our methodology.

If your website names no clinicians

Your listing says that we did not find a named clinician on the public website when we checked it.

That is not a finding that anyone at your clinic is unlicensed, unqualified, or practicing improperly. It means there was no named person available for us to reliably compare with the professional records we use. Many clinics are in the same position.

Publish full provider names, credentials, and roles so the clinicians you name can be checked more reliably. How verification works

Corrections

You should never have to pay us to correct something we got wrong. If we matched a license to the wrong person, missed an exact match, attributed the wrong clinician to your clinic or published incorrect business information, report it. We review legitimate corrections without charge.

What counts as our error

We correct our own mistakes without charge. Because “mistake” has to mean something specific, here is what it means.

Ours to fix, at no charge

Not an error, and what to do instead

A record that predates a change you made. We recheck records each time we refresh a state’s license register data, and each claim on a listing carries the date we read it. If you added a clinician last week, or a license was renewed after our last check, the record is accurate as of the date it shows and the next recheck will pick the change up at no charge.

A partial match we declined. Where a name on your website does not line up exactly with a name in the register, we decline the match instead of guessing. A shortened first name, a missing middle initial, a married name, or a different city are each enough to stop it. That is deliberate: a wrong match publishes one real clinician’s license record under another real clinician’s name, which is worse than an unmatched row. It is also easy to resolve, and we do not charge for it. Send the license number and the issuing board and we will match the record.

Your clinic information is wrong

If we have the wrong business name, website, location, or other basic information, tell us. There is no charge. Fix or update a record.

Your listing has not caught up with a recent change

Every important claim shows the date we read the source. If you changed your website after that date, your listing may simply predate the change. The next recheck, at the next register refresh, picks it up at no charge.

A license shows as not found, but the clinician is licensed

Names do not always match neatly across sources. Common causes include:

Send us the clinician’s license number and issuing board. If our match was wrong or incomplete because of an error on our part, we will correct it without charge.

We published incorrect information about a clinician

Tell us. Errors involving a named person or professional credential receive priority review. You do not need to purchase anything to correct something we got wrong. Report an error.

Removal and opt-out requests

You can request removal. We will not require you to purchase anything, participate in verification, or explain why you want the listing removed.

Badge licensing

Verification status appears on your Verified Injector listing at no charge. A Verified clinic may also choose to license the Verified Injector Badge for display on its own website. The badge is optional. Purchasing it does not create or change your verification status. The badge costs $29 a month, or $290 a year (two months free).

Eligibility

The badge is available while your clinic is Verified. Purchasing a badge cannot create a Verified status; the clinic must first meet the applicable verification requirements. Your listing and verification status remain public whether or not you ever purchase anything from Verified Injector.

A hosted badge

Verified Injector badges are served directly by us rather than supplied as permanent image files. That matters because the badge stays connected to the underlying verification record. If the verification date changes, the badge reflects the new date, and a patient who clicks the badge reaches the current record rather than an old screenshot or a static certificate.

When a recheck no longer supports Verified

If a re-check no longer supports Verified, the badge shows a neutral “Verification not current” plate that links to the current record, in the same space, so your page layout does not change. It returns to the Verified badge when the record supports it again.

Cancellation and lapse

The image stops rendering only if the badge subscription lapses or is cancelled.

Claiming and owner-editable fields

Claiming confirms you speak for the business. It is free. It does not change your verification status, and it cannot.

What a clinic owner can manage

What a clinic owner cannot edit

Verification status, license findings, sources, check dates, licensing board information, and the website address. Everything else on a listing comes from public records and from your own website, and is ours to correct rather than yours to rewrite.

The website address on a listing comes from public databases, we check it during verification, and it is part of how we show where our information came from. It is also what a claim is checked against. If it is wrong, tell us and we will correct it. We never charge to fix something we published.

Claiming does not make you Verified, improve your status, or move you up a page. There is no arrangement under which either is for sale. Claim your listing

Contact for disputes

Something we published is wrong, or you want your listing removed: info@verifiedinjector.com. Send the page, what is wrong, and what it should say. You do not need to prove who you are for us to look, and correcting our own mistake is free. Removal requests go to the same address, and no reason is needed.

Anything else about your listing: info@verifiedinjector.com. Claiming, business details, and anything about how your listing reads.

We will not publish an adverse finding taken from a cached file. If a register suggests a license has lapsed, that goes to a person for live confirmation before anything appears.

Put the Verified Injector Badge on Your Website

If your clinic is Verified, show it on your own website. The badge links patients to your live record, the evidence behind your status, for $29/month. Verification itself is free, and the badge never changes a status or where your clinic appears.
