About the Verified Injector data
Verified Injector is a U.S. database of medical spas, aesthetic clinicians, medical directors and professional licensing records. It connects what a clinic publishes about its providers with the federal NPI Registry and available state licensing board records, and records the date of every check.
5,148 med spas across 8 metros. 7,447 named clinicians. 5,480 license records checked. Last processed September 29, 2026.

Every clinician with an NPI has a record of their own, listing each med spa that names them, because a person who injects at three clinics is one person.

Which credentials can actually be checked differs by state, and that difference, not our method, is why one metro has verified records and another has none. License coverage sets it out credential by credential.
How often records change
- Websites and licensing registers are re-read on a recurring schedule, and every claim on a record carries the date it was read.
- No business owns the top of a page. Nothing about the order in which clinics appear is for sale.
Limitations, stated plainly
- We only see what a clinic publishes. 2,221 of 5,148 med spas name no credentialed clinician on their own website, so there is nothing to check. That is not a finding against any of them.
- Coverage stops where a state stops publishing. Texas distributes its nursing register on physical media, and until it arrives we publish no Texas listings at all. Arizona offers no free download of its registers, so we obtained the Board of Nursing’s licensee file and the Medical Board’s data file (medical doctors and physician assistants) from the boards. We hold no register for osteopathic or naturopathic physicians, so a DO or naturopathic physician named on an Arizona record is not checked and goes to manual review.
- We do not know who is rostered on the day of an appointment. We check the people a business names, not the people working a shift.
- Treatments are what the clinic’s own website lists. We read the services each clinic’s website names, and the record quotes the page and gives the date we read it. A listed treatment says what the website offers. It does not say who performs it, and a practice-wide list may not apply to every location.
- A street address comes from the clinic’s own website or from open map data, and open map data can lag behind a move.
- A license check is not a quality judgement. A current license means a board has not withdrawn one. Verified Injector holds no ratings and no reviews.
Corrections
Correcting an error of ours is free and always will be, and what counts as our error is defined rather than left to judgement. Reports about a named person get priority. Report an error.
Where each field comes from is on data sources, and how a status is decided is in the methodology.
