Fix or update a record

A change to a record is one of two things. If we got it wrong, it is our error, and we fix it free. If the clinic’s website changed after we checked it, it is an update, and it comes from the clinic’s owner.

Which is it?

Did our record match what the clinic’s website said on the date we last checked it?

Each checked record shows the date of its latest check.

Our error: we fix it, free. Anyone can report it.

The clinic’s owner, a clinician we named, or anyone reading the page can tell us. You do not have to prove who you are for us to look. These are ours to fix, always free, and we would rather hear about them early:

If a correction would change a published license status, we confirm it against the issuing board before we change anything, including when the change is in your favor.

Tell us here

One field is required: what is wrong. Everything else helps and none of it is needed.

You do not have to tell us who you are. An email address only matters if you want a reply.

Prefer email? Write to info@verifiedinjector.com. Either reaches the same person.

A name that did not match closely enough

Where a name on a clinic’s website does not line up exactly with a name in the register, we decline the match instead of guessing. A shortened first name, a missing middle initial, a married name, or a different city are all enough to stop it.

That is deliberate, and it protects the person named. A wrong match publishes one real clinician’s license record under another real clinician’s name, which is a worse outcome than an unmatched row, so the matcher is set to be cautious and to say so rather than to fill the gap. It is also easy to resolve, and it is free: send the license number and the issuing board with the form above, and we will match the record.

An update: your website changed after our last check.

Our record matched the clinic’s website on the date we last checked it, and the website has changed since: new hours, a clinician who left or joined, a change of services. The record is accurate for the date it shows. It is not an error, and it is not wrong about anyone.

If you are a clinician who has left a clinic that still lists you on its website, ask the clinic to update its website: the change is picked up at the next recheck. If you never worked there, that is our error, and anyone can report it.

Updates come only from an owner who has claimed the clinic. Claiming is free. Claim your listing.

Once your claim is approved, there are these ways to make an update:

You do not have to tell us who you are. An email address only matters if you want a reply.

Send it from the email address on your approved claim, so we can match it to the clinic.

A manual check before the next recheck

Records are rechecked each time we refresh that state's license register data, and those rechecks cost nothing. If you want a clinician’s license checked again by hand, or someone removed from a listing, before that recheck, that is a manual check. It is for an owner who has claimed the clinic, with an approved claim. Claiming is free.

Paid manual checks are not open yet. Until they are, an update waits for the next recheck, and anything we got wrong is still fixed free through the error form.

If the person should never have been listed at all, that is our error, not a manual check, and we fix it free.

What we cannot change

We cannot alter what a state board records. If a license status is wrong in the register itself, that has to be corrected with the board, and our record picks up the change at the next recheck after the board’s register is updated.

Taking a whole listing off the site is different from any of the above: a clinic can ask for its listing to be removed at any time, free, with no reason needed.

How each status is decided is set out in the methodology, and the same terms are in our terms of service.
